ILBTS Administrator Rules and Procedures

2008

1.    Two Administrators will be appointed for the year for each series and are responsible for the conduct and schedule of the series.

2.    Two Administrators will govern and review all races in the series that they are elected.

3.    An Administrator can volunteer his services or be nominated, but must have a minimum of one year of racing with the league, and be voted in by the board to

        hold the Administrator position.

4.    Every race will be reviewed by at least one of the two Administrators. Any incidents must be reviewed by both before a penalty can be administered.

6.    Each Administrator will review the race, and contact the other Administrator for that series to review the results.  Once consulted by the other Administrator, each series will finalize the official Results including penalties if any were issued and forward to the statistician in a timely matter. This should be accomplished in three days, so official postings can be up on the website as soon as possible. In addition, it is the responsibility of each series administrators to keep track of the penalties of each driver and notify that driver by email of a suspension forthcoming in result of the procedures laid out in the penalty structure.

7.    If at any time the two Administrators cannot come to an agreement on a penalty, the altercation will automatically default to no penalty status.

8.    When an Administrator is involved in an altercation, he is in no way to be involved in any procedure determining the outcome of the

altercation. The second Administrator of that series will review the altercation.  The Administrator involved will in no way contact or be involved in any part of the reviewing process.

Note:  It is the duty and responsibility of an Administrator to bring forth to the other Administrator a situation he was involved in and remove himself of that incident.

9.     The board can remove any administrator, at anytime for any actions that are deemed detrimental to the league.

10.    Once an Administrator is elected, the newly elected Administrator will read and acknowledge to the board that he has read and understands the Administrator Rules and Procedures and will abide by them.

11.    If there is a concern of any kind in any series of a racing incident, the Administrators of the series  involved will handle the case and follow up with

         the driver on the issue.

12.    There will be no appeals or protests to the Board or Administrators concerning any racing incident by a driver for a penalty or non penalty decision made by the Administrators.

13.    Driver's meeting must be posted/emailed by 12:00 AM (Midnight) the day of the race by the respective administrators.
